An airplane is a very big machine with two wings which is able to fly through the sky. Nowadays there are a lot of different types of planes, but all of them have things in common. All planes work with a huge engine that makes it fly, have two wings to hold it in the sky and have a cabin to travel in. All planes are flown by a pilot who receives the help of air traffic controllers to have a safer flight.
Planes around the world have a lot of different applications. They can be used as a way of transport to travel long distances in shorts periods of time and to transport materials to distant places. There is also another type of plane called fighter planes, which are used in the army. These are the quicker planes and are used in almost all countries to protect its security in international conflicts.

Also known as airplanes, they are machines with two horizontal wings and a motor, used for military purposes or for recreational ones, such as a trip or journey to another country. They move in a three dimensions so, when flying one of them, the pilot has to take into account three different axis, each in charge of a different movements: left/right, up/down or right/left wing up. The first motor plane was invented by the Wright Brothers in the 20th century and it received the name of the Flyer I.
Nowadays, airplanes have evolved and they no longer are those machines with an helix. Instead, they now have a propulsión system which allows them to move faster. Because of the speed they move with and the consequences that any imperfection can cause, they are always subjected to a vigoruous inspections in all of their components and different movements. In this way, we can see how safety is a very important factor to take into account.

The airplane of the Eagle Patrol is called the C-101, and it is characteristic of the Spanish Air Army. It is placed at the Base of San Javier, the Air General Academy, in which it is driven by all the professional pilots that works for the Army.
The plane is characteristic for the orange colour that has in its bottom and the draws that seems to be a lighting, which makes reference to the high velocity that could reach. On this terms, the maximum velocity isn't already achieved while the flight, but it is said that it cans go through all the Spanish country at almost fifteen minutes, which can be probably unbelievable.
The components of the plane are studied during four the five years that students are at San Javier, because then is when pilots start driving it. However, some of them are the cabin, in which the pilot achieve to make it fly, the wings, the wheels, or the turbines that has in it. The plane has been in the Spanish Army too many years and it is supposed to be replaced by the F-5 in two or three years, so that in 2023 we may be driving them.

We all have heard about a plane that fights fire, but what else do you know about it? This plane is called hydroplane, in other words it can also work as a boat, but obviously it's not its main function, but it is a very important feature.
Some people misunderstand who controls this airplane, some of them think that works with Air Force and others with the firefighters, to make it clear, it does work and collaborates with firefighters but it's part of the Air force.
About how they operate, when there is a fire emergency, in a forest for example, the first thing they have to do is take off and search a place near the fire to get water, it can be a lake; big enough for the plane, or the sea. This is one of the most complicated part, it's hard to make a nice landing on the water, mostly on the sea, if you do it wrong the plane can be break in half. The water comes in in a very small holes under the plane, so no, no fish or object can come in. The water capacity is very high. Later, they throw it over the fire, this is the most exited moment because it flights really near the fire.

The F18 is a combat aircraft used by many countries around the world. Is a plane designed by the USA army around 70 years ago with the main objective of dog fighting. This word is still used nowadays. The F18 has been one of the most powerfull planes on tearms of war. It have a lot of models and variants that can fit perfectly in specific misions such as Air to Air or Air to Ground combats. Is such a good fighter that it have a model wich can land on a Carrier like the F/A 18 Super Hornet. In Spain we have a group of this jets called ALA 12 located in Torrejón, Madrid. The F18 have been used by our army since many years ago, so many time that the goberment want to buy another type of aircraft. But the main problem is that the F18, due to his powerful controls and guns, can’t be replaced by any other plane.

An airplane is a mean of transport that makes our lives easier. It is huge and can carry hundreds of people. With its wings it can fly above any type of land, it doesn’t mind if it’s water or not.
If you are going to go to somewhere that is too far from home, maybe you should think about buying airplane tickets due to the fact that you are going to arrive earlier, I mean, if going by car can last 8 hours, by airplane they could be 2 hours so that you can spend the rest of the time doing other activities.
Talking about planes in general, we can distinguish two main types: commercial and military ones.
On the one hand, commercial airplanes could transport mercancy and people. They are bigger than military planes because they are made only to carry people so the plane is not in danger. 150
On the other hand, military planes could be “small” in which only two people can go inside or “big” like commercial ones. “Small” planes are made for wars, to protect people in other places or countries, or simply to teach flight students how to make it land, for example.
In conclusion, there are a lot of different types of planes and, if you are going to travel in holidays, think in that incredible option because I’m sure that you won’t regret it.

An airplane is a machine with two wings, it flies and is commonly used to transport people, but it can also be used for other uses.
There are civil and military aircraft. There are three types of military aircraft, first one transport airplanes, they transport people and goods. The second type of airplanes are the attack airplanes, they try to keep secure the Spanish territory. The last type of airplanes are the fire planes. The transport airplanes are the biggest of the three, but it also is the slowest, on the other hand the fight airplane is the smallest but also the fastest. The attack airplane is the only that has guns, it can shoot missile.
This year the Spanish army introduce a different type of airplane it is call drone, it is a very small without pilot, it is piloted by remote control. A study says that by 2050 there will be no more piloted aircraft as these new types of aircraft prevent many deaths.

There are uncountables kinds of airplanes when their come about their size, power, shapes, or even about their wings configuration. In the same way, an airplane can be designed for many differents pourpuses. For instance, transportation of passengers, comercial aviation transports, military…
Although most airplanes are flown by a pilot on board the aircraft, some are designed to be remotely or computer-controlled such as drones. In fact, nowdays, the last one mencioned are most likely to see.
Basically, inside the cockpit where is used in order to controlling and commanding the plane, there are like a million of tiny buttons that if you don’t know how to use them, you will crush. In addition, the wings have flaps which are used to increase lift and drag. As well as the aileron to change roll.
All in all, controlling and airplane requires be focus on it and be able to struggle with distractions and unexpected situations. Otherwise, you shouldn’t manipulating such delicated device.
This text is going to be about one of the planes of the Spanish Air Forces and, to be more specific, one of the planes available in this Academy, which is the Casa C-101 Aviojet.
Among the two model of training planes here in the Academy, this one is the most advanced one, being flight by the 4th grade students. In comparison with its son, the one flight in 3th grade, the C-101 is propelled by a reactor, which is much more powerful than the propellers.That fact, added to its incredibly aerodinamic shape,makes this plane able to reach a high speed of 700 kilometers per hour.
The C-101 has belonged to the Academy for lots of years, and after being the "first love" of many profesional attack pilots, this plane will see its end in a few years (or months), being replaced by the american plane "Pilatus C-12".

The C101 is the aircraft used in the San Javier Aireforce Base to instruct future pilots. This aircraft, which has a reactor engine, has space for up to two persons (usually a pilot and an instructor). The instructor seats on the back seat and has acces to the different controls of the plane, which allows him/her to help the pilot in case of an emergency.
From the outside, the C101 has an aerodynamic design which makes it a great plane for acrobatic flying. This is the reason why it is the aircraft used by the "Patrulla Águila". In the San Javier Airforce Base we can find two different types of C101, the one used for instruction and the one used by the "Patrulla Águila". Both of them have almost the same features and capacities. The main difference is just the design, the first one is gray,red and has the spanish flag on it, and the other one is gray and orange. The C101 used by the "Patrulla Águilla" has in addition a small compartement at the end of its wings which is where the fog that we can sometimes see on military parades comes from.

Airplanes have made people's dreams possible, the capability to not be on the ground and fly throught the sky. Those machines have been developing from about 1850 till today. At first they were made just by wood and a little bit of steel but now they are a mix of hundred of materials and new electronics components that make them extraordinary machines capable of flying at 2000 km per hour and carry heavy objets like vehicles, machine pieces and bombs. One of those airplanes is the Eurofigther Typtoom, whith has been developed by european countries such as Spain, France and Italy.
The F-18 is one of the most charismatic and famous airplanes the world has seen in recent years.
It was designed and built by the USA in the past century, however it still flies and is one of the main weapons of many nations. Although it is not in first line of fire, the airplane contributes in so many different ways to national deffense. Here in Spain, the F-18 is the second most modern fighter, only behind the awesome Eurofighter Typhon, they are located in the militar bases of Zaragoza, Morón and the Canary Islands. They are not comparable in terms of tecnology to new airplanes, but F-18s are still prefered over them by many experienced pilots because of how easy it is to handle.
Although the F-18 is not a remarkable war weapon anymore, it continues to give a great service in some labours and amaze people all over the world.
